Notice of 2023 Annual General Meeting
Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of Doonside Hawks Soccer Club Inc. for 2023 is to be held on Wednesday, 21 February 2024, commencing at 7.00pm in the Carousel Inn, Duke st and Woodstock ave Rooty Hill.
Attendance:
Teams, which subject to this Constitution, must be represented by a Delegate, and who shall have the right to receive notice of General Meetings and to be present, debate and vote on behalf of the Club at General Meetings.
Each team nominated a delegate at the beginning of the 2023 season to represent the members of that team at meetings. (Coach or Manager) All 2023 delegates are encouraged to attend to represent members and to help the club provide the best environment for everyone to succeed in the future. Delegates are required to represent your team. Only 2023 delegates are eligible to vote.
Life Members are encouraged to attend and to debate at General Meetings but shall have no voting rights. All Life Members are encouraged to attend and to help the club provide the best environment for everyone to succeed in the future.
Individual members and Affiliate members shall have the right to be present and debate at General meetings but shall have no right to vote. All Individual members and Affiliate members are encouraged to attend and to help the club provide the best environment for everyone to succeed in the future.
Why volunteer for Executive Committee or General Committee?
Volunteers are the heartbeat of our club. Without volunteers we would struggle to provide the wonderful experience of playing our beloved game. At Doonside Hawks Soccer Club, we need volunteers to help at the #hawsknest for season 2024 and planning beyond. Duties range from opening and closing grounds for training and match days, helping in the canteen, running the BBQ, general and executive committee roles. All duties will be on a roster basis and only a small amount of time given would provide a big amount of support.
Please be part of our family/club and let's all work together to make our club even better. If you can contribute, we need you! So, if you are #proudtobeahawk and want to part of the #hawksnation, it is time to take that next step! You can make a difference!

Expressions of Interest are called upon from the Members of the Club
for the establishment of the following Committees and Commissions.
Media Officer, Social Secretary, Sponsorship Officer and General Committee Delegates.
